Schedule for EKU Concert Choir: first week of classes
Monday, August 20
We will meet VERY BRIEFLY (10-15 minutes) to distribute the syllabus and take roll. Attendance is mandatory if you are registered for this class (MUS 225/325/825), even if you are planning to audition for Chamber Singers and/or University Singers.
Wednesday, August 22
No class (Auditions for Chamber Singers and University Singers will still be going on).
Friday, August 24
Music distribution; first full rehearsal

Fall 2012 auditions
Auditions for Chamber Singers and University Singers begin in TWO WEEKS! Sign up for a 10-minute audition time on the door to the choral office (Foster 104).
Monday, August 20; 12:00 - 4:00 pm
Tuesday, August 21; 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Wednesday, August 22; 12:00 - 4:00 pm
A prepared piece is not necessary. You will be asked to sing "My Country 'Tis of Thee," will be vocalized to determine your range, and will be asked to demonstrate sight-reading, interval, and tonal memory skills.
Participation in Concert Choir does not require an audition. Simply register for the course and we'll see you at the first rehearsal. And bring a friend (or two)!
